Is America at a Point of Reckoning?

Client: The Washington Post
Role: Artist
Medium:  Ink, Watercolor, Collage, Gesso
Commissioned by The Washington Post, I created a striking illustration merging a skull with a human portrait, symbolizing the enduring struggle for racial justice in America. This piece  accompanied an article exploring the nation's reckoning with its history of racism and police brutality. It reflects the pain, resilience, and hope entwined in the fight for equality, capturing the essence of a nation at a pivotal moment in its journey toward healing and change.
